Groundcover

Groundcover plants are used primarily for covering large areas without much maintenace. Groundcover plants have a large variety of flowers and color, they are usually perennial low growing shrubs, ideal to use for hillsides or non-walking areas. Here are some of the most common type of groundcovers sold in flats.

Clump-forming, densely hairy to almost hairless, evergreen perennial, rhizomatous but without stolons, and with upright stemps to 16" ling. In spring, bears spike-like whorls, to 4" tall, of bright flowers. Height 8"-16", Spread 18".
